(Disclaimer: This is typed in the Georgia font, fitting right?) Training camp is unreal. I'm not sure what I was expecting…but certainly not life changing moments. The worship is unexplainable, so good. It takes me to an intimate place with my heavenly Father that I've never been before. Sketchy times on a roof..

It's been a while since my last blog, so I felt it was necessary for me to let my readers know how I am doing. Things continue to move alone very fast at Nueva Vida, as we just finished up VBS last week which turned out to be a huge success. Props to everyone on Team Nueva Vida for making that happen. Last Thursday, we went out into the barrios with the older kids to do some "house repair". Earlier in the week, our team purchased some tarp so that we could put the tarp over the roofs of some houses in the barrios. We got to the first house with about 15 of us, and we started...

Power of Prayer

Lately I have really been learning more about the power of prayer. Not to say I didn’t ever know how powerful prayer was, but lately God has really been showing me His faithfulness through the small things I pray for. Although they seem small to me, they are just as important to Him. Through seeing him answer all the small prayers, I can’t help but be ashamed that I do not pray for more dangerous & miraculous things to happen.
