God is absolutely amazing. I can´t even begin to describe the things He´s doing here. We moved into the youth center and in less than a week we´ve had over a hundred kids come to the youth center. Our ministry is really starting to pick up, we´re going into the barrios to talk to people. Alot of the team members are beginning to build strong relationships with the locals. We even have a bread and a fruit lady now =). We´ve hung our canvas up in the kitchen to add a homey touch. We finally got a stove and the other day we prayed for rain. God gave us running water! an unlimited supply, I know that sounds silly but it´s different when your relying on rain for showers. And to kick it off Jesus pretty much gave us a welcome home party last night! He rocked our worlds!
Something else really amazing happened the other day. We were told to pray and fill up before we went out. Brett, Sarah, Jenny, Paige and me were all in a team. It was kind of a struggle at first but we kept praying and we kept getting the word Father. So we decided to go to the barrios and have a little church service in the streets and tell the parable of the lost son. So we kept praying and God slowly got us so pumped for this. When we got out there the kids were excited and most of them were attentive, but this one boy really stood out. His name is Eric and he´s only 14 years old, but he was so excited for the gospel. He asked if he could read the childrens bible we had to the other kids and he kept reading story after story. There was such a glow on his face as he did this, you could just tell the passion he had. We´re excited to see what hes going to do and the way he grows.
