¡Que Alegría!

!Que Alegría! 
I am filled with so much joy each and every day here in Ometepe. Each new day brings new challenges and adventures, and God has been workin through each and every situation. Though I may not understand why God has put certain struggles in my life, He has a plan. A purpose. Here are some specific verses that have kept me joyful and at peace this week:
2 Corinthians 12:9- My grace is all you need, my power works best in weakness.
1Thes. 5:16- Always be joyful, never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who  belong to Christ Jesus. 
Psalms 32:7- You are my hiding place, you protect me from trouble, you surround me with songs of deliverance. 
Isaiah 40:31- Those who hope in te Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and now grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
 This past week I have seen god working through answered prayer, cool weather, strong community, and joyful songs. God is teaching me to focus my thoughts on the present and not the past/future. He is working in the Now. I must always fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and protector of my faith.
