Family and friends, As the last blog said, we’ve officially made it to Nicaragua! I just wanted to share a little bit of the journey with you all, photograph style.        Well…..here we are on the lovely island of omtepe, and let me tell you, the Lord's favor has been with us. He has blessed us tremendously with safe travel, comfortable living arrangements, wonderful people, and good food. 🙂       One thing that I have found to be pretty extraordinary since i have been here is the ability to communicate with others even without words. We’ve arrived! It took a while, but we finally made it to Ometepe, Nicaragua. In the last few days I’ve taken planes, boats, and buses (vans) crammed with more people than can possibly be safe, but we managed to get here relatively unscathed. A few belongings got soaked in the process (they tied our bags to the top of the van in a rain shower), but all’s well that dries well. Travel Day One was mostly relegated to sitting in the airport.
