Training Camp was not what I expected. I arrived in the Atlanta airport with a two hour layover until I flew to Chattanooga, Tennessee. I was sitting there minding my own business when a college aged girl approached me. She asked me if I was going on a Real life trip and I was surprised but answered yes. We have learned so many different things these past few days. But I think the most important thing that I will take away from training is to open my ears and listen to God's words. We did an exercise last night where we prayed that only God's words were to be heard and then to speak them upon people. I have never experienced anything like that before, but just feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit in the room was amazing. Going into this trip I didn’t feel at all prepared for what we were doing. Thankfully, AIM offers an amazing training camp to help all those unsure people such as myself. Throughout the four days we have spent at camp the AIM staff has done such an amazing job working with us and preparing us for the next couple months.
