Let’s Make it Rain

Hello all! Oh man it has been quite a crazy adventure the last four days. I can tell you right now that I already feel like a different person! Awesome! I just want to say it right now that I love love LOVE my teammates! They are so encouraging and understanding! And I cannot wait to get closer to them on this journey that we all are taking together. During these last four days God has showed me that I am worthy to be known and that I am wanted and all that I really need to do is to take that leap of faith and open myself up to people and a new opportunities to show people who I really...

Prisons

Training Camp was not what I expected. I arrived in the Atlanta airport with a two hour layover until I flew to Chattanooga, Tennessee. I was sitting there minding my own business when a college aged girl approached me. She asked me if I was going on a Real life trip and I was surprised but answered yes. She answered that she was too and invited me to join a bunch of other Real Life participants on the other side of the desk.  I had no idea that we were going to be training with all the other Real life teams! It has been so great spending time with all of these Christian college...

I have never experienced anything like that before, but just feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit in the room was amazing. I realized how powerful His words can be and how important it is just to be quiet and listen to Him.  Training camp was not what I was expecting. It was...

Training camp

Going into this trip I didn’t feel at all prepared for what we were doing. Thankfully, AIM offers an amazing training camp to help all those unsure people such as myself. Throughout the four days we have spent at camp the AIM staff has done such an amazing job working with us and preparing us for the next couple months. Through community building activities such as sleeping in a tarp shelter our first night freezing our butts off, awesome dance off’s, and creating our own mural representing our team and what we want to gain from this trip, we all feel as though we have known...
