Trainings been sweet! My team is super legit and I’m stoaked to go to Nicaragua tomorrow morning! The first night we stayed in Atlanta and roamed downtown with instructions to distribute a dollar, start convos, pray for people, and other randomness. It was sweet, we got into some cool convos and Hannah and I met this guy named Ruben. Turns out his wife was in the hospital having their 7th kid which is stinkin ridiculous; as we talked to him it was soooo apparent that he loved his kids a ton. We prayed with him about his family and his wife, and it was really encouraging. He told us we encouraged him a ton too and kept his mind off his bills for a little bit by just making him laugh. God has been doing cool things like that in this short few days in Georgia and I’m very ready for Nicaragua! Now for some fun facts: Fireflies are awesome. Alabama accents are my favorite. Explaining what “steezy” means to people is hilarious. Lastly, on the subject of my legitly awesome team, Katie Booker still hasn’t raised all the support she needs to go. If you feel led to give it’d be awesome because she is already a pivotal part of our team. If you go to the website I’m sure you can figure out how to give to her. Write to you from Nicaragua!
