Hi everyone!
We are getting settled in at Cicrin and have enjoyed our first full week here. I am so excited to see what the Lord does this next week in our ministries and I will be heading to the other side of the island with half of my team to work alongside a church there.
The past week and a half, the Lord has done so many things in my heart, and as cheesy as it sounds, I feel so incredibly blessed to see firsthand how much deeper in love with Him I am growing daily, and I am SO EXCITED about it. On the plane ride here, I spent the whole time reveling in the book of Galatians, trying to wrap my head around the reality of His grace and the FREEDOM that we have in Him. There is so so much joy and life that I find in this and it is so powerful knowing that through Him and only Him, we can walk boldly and freely, apart from any strongholds of sin in our lives.
Last night, our team watched the documentary “Father of the Light” and it was so remarkable to be reminded again of God’s power and how he is still so active today all over the world. As I watched, I was literally crying and just kept whispering, “God you are just SO AWESOME!” to myself.
So many times I think as Christians we doubt that God can do the impossible, and that He is still working miracles. But maybe the reason we don’t see the ways he is working is because we often doubt His power, and we become plagued and blinded by a lack of faith. I have realized that as humans in general we are lacking in the faith that our God can still do the impossible. But lately I have just been learning more and more about His true power, and I am so excited to see how He continues to work here.
I have been reminded that God always wins. Always. How freeing is that? No matter what form the devil tries to attack by, the Lord ALWAYS wins. We know the end of the story, and we need to live our lives with this in mind. How incredible is it that we have this assurance, this comfort, and this knowledge in Him, and through that, we can walk in absolute and complete authority and freedom. HALLELUJAH!!
I feel like my heart has just been exploding with His love and a hunger and passion for more of Him lately. The Lord is continually showing me how to love others more like He loves us, and how much He truly treasures and delights in His children.
So..It is difficult to sum up all that the Lord has been showing me here in one short blog, and I apologize for my jumbled writing—there is just so much going on in my mind! But thank you so so much for your continued prayers and support. The Lord is so good and miraculous and powerful and ALIVE, and I am so blessed to be serving Him as His daughter.
