Yesterday was a day of JOY and HOPE.  Half the group went to the nursing home in the morning to see the old folks, and we brought a pinata along for the ride.  I don´t know if I could describe how funny it was to watch 97-year-old, 50-pound Rosa beat away at the paper machetti bear…and then to watch another elder man dance his little heart out as he was so excited to go at it too.  They all loved being outside and I know I really enjoyed their presence as well.  There is so much hope in Christ and I truly feel this was felt amongst all the elders yesterday. It began to rain, HARD.  Shelby and I were in the barrios running to our friend Angel´s house when the storm hit.   We entered Angel´s house soaking wet leaving water all over the floor.  After praying that God would heal her brain tumor so that should could walk again, she told us she her legs and head no longer hurt.  God´s faithfulness gave us encouragement to endeavor back into the rain to run to one of our favorite familes, the Modestos.  We treked up the hill with water rushing down with such happiness that could have only come from Him.  Once we...
