10 Things I Learned at Training Camp.

1. Crazy things can happen when you have twenty seconds of insane courage
Whether it's something big like going on a trip for two months with people you don't know, or going out of your comfort zone to pray out loud or to worship God like you mean it, God's going to do crazy things if you give Him a little bit of courage.

2. Our team can DANCE.
If it's doing the Cha-cha Slide, the Wobble, or dancing to One Direction, our team can dance. (Shout out to Trey for tearing up the dance floor)

3. Tents are overrated.
Why take the time and make an elaborate tent out of two tarps and a couple ropes when you can just sleep under the stars!?

4. I'm really bad at blogging.
Lists are more fun anyways:)

5. There is power in the name of Jesus….
…and He is going to break away ALL of our chains.

6. Get to meal time early!
If that means staking out spots in the front of the line an hour before meal time… do it!

7. Worship is more than singing pretty songs about God.
It doesn't have to be in a church, with a complete band, and beautiful harmonies. It can be shouting, screaming, clapping, dancing and just feeling the presence of God. There isn't any correct way to worship God.

8. In other cultures, it may be acceptable to spit water in people’s faces, slap them on the head, and have grass as offering.
I don't think this will make any sense even if I try to explain it:)

9. God is going to crazy crazy things in Nicaragua
We leave tomorrow, woooo hooo:)

10. My identity is found in Christ.
Not in how people view me, not in how I view myself, but in Christ and that's all I need.
