Living in community is a great thing! We have fifteen people between the ages of 18 and 24 living very closely. It took a few days to get used to it but now I can’t imagine living any other way. When we go home I know that I will feel so lonely. I will be in what will seem like a huge house with only three people. Anyway, one thing that comes with living in community with other people is that delegation of duties is necessary. To make this more fun, we created committees. This came about as a sort of accident but now we love it. We have assigned each person to a certain committee.
Hannah- Broom committee- In charge of getting a broom and sweeping the room and porch when necessary
Taco Friday committee- In charge of organizing Friday snacks and stuff
Reena- Hope committee- In charge of finding Hope (the person) and making sure she is present at all group meetings.
Assisting Emma committee- Reminding Emma of all necessary reminders.
Hope- General party planning committee- take care of all party issues and planning measures
Question Committee- Answer all questions that the group has.
Thursday Committee- In charge of everything about Thursday
Jenn- Trash committee- One of the more important committees that exists. She is in charge of everything trash.
Emma’s personal assistant committee- Helping our fearless leader get through the days.
Abby- Contest committee- In charge of everything to do with contests
Juanita’s birthday committee- Self explanatory
Father’s day video committee- Created an awesome video for our Dad’s on Father’s day
General party planning committee- take care of all party issues and planning measures.
Consoling committee- Basically, rubbing/ patting Jenn’s back.
Starfish Committee- In charge of making sure everyone on the team gets starfished at the appropriate time.
Kristen- General party planning committee- take care of all party issues and planning measures
4th of July committee- Planning a party to celebrate our country’s independence
Father’s day committee- Assistant to Abby
Hug committee- In charge of monitoring hugs and dispersing them appropriately.
Kelsey- Exercise committee- In charge of waking my butt up to go running and organizing workout sessions.
Sarah Cobb- Prayer committee- In charge of taking prayer requests and praying for our team and the communities.

Sarah Swindle- Toilet paper committee- Quite possibly the most important committee.
Kelly- Dancing committee- In charge of organizing dance parties for our team and choreographing dances.
Ke$ha committee- Any time Ke$ha lyrics are appropriate she inserts them into our day. She works under the leadership of James.
James- Advice committee- When someone on the team needs advice, this is the place to go! He is so full of knowledge.
Water committee- Monitor our water supply and inform the correct parties of shortages.
