…In the dark!
The power went off, it was 8 at night and we were gathered in a circle for team time. Team time is something we do every night. It is a time for us all to encourage each other, plan future projects and share about our day. Any way the room went completely dark for about 5 minutes. But we just kept on talking, pretending we could see each others faces.
We continue to go into the barrios and to the senior center. I am really sad though, because we no longer go to the school for disabled children. The school is closed for some kind of holiday and wont be open again until our last week here.
One of my favorite things so far has been the worship at our church services. We have four services a week a Sunday morning children’s service, Sunday afternoon adult service, Wednesday afternoon adult service, and a Friday afternoon youth service. The songs that we do at all of these are songs that I know, so it is easy for me to sing along in English.
