Today my group and I went to lunch with a family who lives in the borrios close to the center were we live. It was awesome not ony did we get a FULL plate of food and the world cup was on, but we also got to join in on just great family fun. This family is pretty big there are four sisters and their families that live in one Nica house. The houses are made of sheet metal and though they look small from the sheet, it surprizing how much room there is. There are five people in my group so while Ashley and Shelby got to talk to the bed ridden grandmother. Matt, Logan, and I got to have a semi Spanglish convo with the mothers and kids. I got an older girl ,Anna, to read all of Psalm 18 with me. When I say read I mean her laughing at me as I tried to read in spanish. Eventually she just read the words out and I repeated them after her. It was great just building realationships and having a great time. We are going back agian next week, we´ll see what happens.
