It’s not easy, so they say

To leave your home and go away

To a country you don’t know.

It’s not easy, it is true

To speak to those who don’t know you

And don’t know what you say.

It’s not easy, it’s no lie

To pack it up and say good-bye

To ones close to your heart.

It’s not easy, understand

To go obey the Lord’s command

And leave comfort behind.

But it’s worth it, here we know

Nothing greater than to go

And give God’s love away.
