Cicrin is an amazing place. The people who work here really put their hearts into it. It’s inspiring to witness. Earlier this week we fasted with them and the children. They were fasting in prayer for funds that they needed. My favorite part about this experience was seeing the community and love that they had. Instead of quietly fasting individually, they praised and prayed to God in community, declaring that He could provide. It was so powerful to see their faith and to participate. I have never fasted like this. This was so full of faith and passion. It was so cool to hear that two hours after the usual time for lunch, all the funds needed were provided! It was so encouraging to see the provision and how faith impacts our lives. This is one experience I will never forget. Here are a few more things:
-The hearts and the joy that the people who work here have. They are such a blessing to work with.
-The smiles and the laughter of the children. These kids are insanely beautiful.
-The way that the sky and the mountains look after it rains. It always clears up and the mountains come out of hiding.
-The sunsets! So many colors explode across the sky. They are some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.
-Pounding, electrifying, relaxing rain falling on the tin roof.
-Fresh papaya and lime juice.
