Our dog Lottie… she looks like a tan version of Freckles and often smells like him
Rice and beans for every meal
Not having a cell phone
Buying chocolate bananas for about $.10

The ability to understand every word that people are saying to me and not just look at them with a blank stare
"For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the Lord Almighty."

"From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised." Psalm 113:3

Life is full of seasons. God is teaching me how to move from one to the next. It’s amazing how blessed I am in each of them. Knowing how great God is and how much He’s always provided in the past, how can I not look forward to the future, with excitement and expectancy, regardless of what that is? It could be a little scary. The adjustment might be difficult. But He is God and He writes every line of my story, even the details in between the chapters.
“This is my prayer in the desert
When all that’s within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides
This is my prayer in the fire
And weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved of more worth than gold
So refine me lord through the flames
I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and he is here
This is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on its way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on his promise I’ll stand
I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and he is here
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and he is here
And this is my prayer in the harvest
And favor and providence flow
I know I’m filled to be emptied again
The seed I received I will sow”
