It's GO Time. (…or game time)
The past 3 days have been so encouraging and freeing. I am surrounded by people who have such a love for God and His children. My group has already connected in such an awesome way, despite the fact that we have only known each other for a short time.
How did AIM train us for such a CRAZY adventure, you might ask?
Here is the answer:
– creating an atmosphere to worship in order for us to hear God's voice and his incredible promises for our lives
-"throwing" us into a "tibe" of people who spoke using clicking noises and had us practice sharing the love of Jesus while they spit water in our face
-helping us to leave behind anything that is holding us back from making the best of our trip
-having a team camping trip under the stars …it may have been cold, but at least it didn't rain!
-Teaching us to "Wobble", and having a dance competition that our team ALMOST dominated at 🙂
And last but not least, surrounding us with encouragement and hope for the months to come.
We have made it. We will be on Nicaragua soil tomorrow.
It's GO Time.
