¿Donde estan los niños?

We made it to Jinotepe and I think it´s safe to say we all love it here. One week down, about 6 1/2 more to go! With only a few people knowing Spanish, you can imagine it´s a bit of a struggle to go out and meet people and share our testimonies and the love that Jesus Christ has to offer them, but we´re making due with what we have, and trying new ways to break down the language barrier. We laugh to ourselves at how ridiculous we must sound with some of the things we say. One day a few of us wanted to play with some kids, but it was during the day so we figured they were all at school. Because no one knew how to say, ´´When does school get out?´´ We asked, ´´Where are all the children?´´ Potentially a bit creepy. As I said, we´re working on it. What´s encouraging to know is that God only knows one language. We all read from the same Bible and pray to the same God whether it´s in English or Spanish.

We´ve had a lot of fun with some neighborhood kids which we´ve ran into multiple times, and I´m guessing this won´t be the last of them. I would love to write more about everything but Brett and I are hungry and we need to leave the internet café. Keep us all in your prayers and know we miss and love everyone. Love from Nica.
