Rain

So this is going to be short. I had something I wanted to blog about but I can´t get the words to come out right. I´ll write it eventually though. But last night here was beyond anything I can express in words. So I´ll just tell you what it did for me. It is technically rainy season for Nicaragaua, but this week was very dry and hot. We were all just hoping for rain. It didn´t happen. It has also been a pretty trying week for a lot of us. We have been dealing with different sicknesses and just being a somewhat miserable. Last night we had an amazing worship time that went on for hours. It was the first time in a long time that I could feel the Holy Spirit. It was so tangible in me and in that room, it was so incredible. I honestly cannot put into words what heppend. I asked for God to show up in me and do something crazy. Some of us ended up outside screaming out and declaring things that have held us back, things that we want to be rid of, and things we want God to do in our lives. For me, God gave me confirmation that my heart is safe in His hands. I have been struggling so much with that. I trusted my Dad more than anything. My safe place was in his arms. Why has it taken me so long to realize that I am safe in the arms of my Holy Father? That it is safe to trust in Him?  Ah! I am just so excited that everything is so far beyond broken down that I can´t go back. The walls that I built up around my heart are never going to come back. I´m rambling, but I can´t think in a straight line right now. Anyway, after last night the rain finally came. I feel like we were so dry & then God just crashed our world and the rain came and filled us up again. The next 5 weeks are going to be so incredible and I promise that I will come up with some better thought out blogs. But for now rejoyce in what God is doing in our team and the people of Nicaragua!
