Matthew 11: 28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give your rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
So much is happening and time feels like forever when it has only been a week. I look around at what these people have here and I am often saddened by the fact that we Americans are never satisfied with our five bedroom houses for our three-person family; but, then I am also so grateful for warm water to take a shower and air conditioning back in the USA. Life is so simple here, but yet they have some many sorrows of their own kind. I fear that I will become a materialistic American, not that I am not one already. I fear that I will never be fully satisfied in what I have, but I know that the Lord cast my fears.
