God’s Presence

Through this training god has come and spoken to me, he has told me to listen to him, to be able to call on him when i need help. God can be present at anytime, through worship, speaking and listening to the sound of god’s voice. I have learned that sometimes we have a plan for our lives, but god may have totally something different in mind. It may not be what we want, but it is good for us because it is all in god’s plan. Through this you grow in your relationship with Christ. You learn to follow his ways and trust in him with your whole heart.

By being apart of this training i have grown closer to god and i have come in contact with some amazing teammates who all believe in this great god of ours. Words cant begin to describe how awesome it is to be around so many believers who are constantly there to cheer you up or just to keep you company. I am sure jesus was like that! Camp has gotten me ready to be on the mission field. To be jesus hands and feet, to witness to those who need jesus, to give hope and restoration to the hopeless, to heal people who need the hand of god.

I would suggest that if you have not gone on any mission trips like this to go. So far it has been an amazing experience, being apart of going into the world and making disciples is life changing. You can go and you will see god come before you and work in your life.

One thing that i have learned is that you are not alone! No matter what you have done or what you are going to do our savior is there for you. He forgives and he gave us freedom in him. The presence of god is an astounding thing and i cant wait to see what else through this trip god has to say to me and to my teammates.

Just a reminder for all who are reading this, is that you have a savior who calls you by name, who wants to be in a commited relationship with you! Who loves you with such an intense love that he died on the cross to give you life. How amazing and how awesome is our god and how awesome is his presence!
