last saturday was our free day. we went to the waterfall first and then the beach. As most of you know i have been baptized before but i was very young and i did not remember anything about it. Being on this trip i have heard about how you are made new in christ and that if you ask the spirit of the lord will come upon you. I wanted to be made new in christ. So i had been praying about it and i talked to my leader emma and asked if i could be baptized. she thought that it would be an awesome thing. so she talked to pastor glen and he said he would do it. So here we are at the ocean. My teammate melanie decided that she wanted to be baptized too. she had never been baptized before. A girl from the other team diane got baptized as well. It was awesome being baptized with my new family around me. The spirit of god and his presence was definitely there. i got baptized in flowing waters. Gods love and grace were poured out on me this day. I now know that God has created me and has given me new life in him.. I am excited to see how god is going to use me and my two sisters in christ during this experience. I am glad i had the boldness and confidence to be able to stand in front of my team and declare that i am made new in christ..
