We began walking from the compound to the barrios for prayer walk. I prayed for the families and for us to see with God’s eyes today just like normal. Except for one thing. I prayed that we may see the spiritual realm. When it came out of my mouth, it was one of those, “Why the heeeeeck did I pray that?”
That night, we got together to pray about all that’s going on in the barrios. They are poor, they are desperate, they are confined by sin, they are entangled in a political system where they aren’t taken care of very well. But. They are beautiful. They are called to be out of this mess. But when we don’t see the fruits appear quickly, it gets hard real quick. God showed me that there is darkness over the barrios but today I asked for more . . . so ask and you shall receive.
I began to see demons clawing at some sort of wall that we were atop. I saw darkness over the barrios as well. Then Amy saw a fortress. It can’t be broken. That’s what that saw that the demons were clawing at. I started sweating, trembling and gasping for breath as I felt them clawing at me instead of those walls. The walls of the fortress started rising and the claws reached higher and higher towards the top edge we were standing on. I was starting to become so physically tired that I thought I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t stand another second. And then I saw them. I saw angels come down from heaven and take their place at our fortress, ready for battle. They were human size but started growing bigger and bigger. They spared no time as each demon was defeated. As we continued to pray, as I gasped for breath, I stopped praying and listened to each person’s request to our Father and as I looked at each one of my brothers and sisters, I saw an angel over each one of them. I saw an angel over Catherine, Michelle, Jonny, Annie, Ali, Katy, Amy, Thompson, Diane, Brooke, Josh, Amy, Amanda and Kellie. Each angel was human sized but became bigger and bigger and bigger until each one was bigger than the room we were in. I believe they are actually bigger than that but I think that’s all God would allow me to fathom.
There
Is
Darkness
Here.
There.
At home.
In Jinotepe, Nicaragua.
In Thailand.
In Galveston, Tejas.
And until we turn our eyes to our Father,
It will take over our lives.
But HE will always
PREVAIL.
BE VICTORIOUS.
WIN.
How will He prove Himself victorious?
He uses little people like us.
He uses our
INABLILITY
More than our
ABILITY.
He will reign.
He has a powerful army of
10000 x 10000 ANGELS
Working WITH and FOR us.
Well,
for HIS sake.
The barrios are dark but the angels are coming.
Well, they’re already here.
Trust me.
I’ve seen them.
