A Taste of This Sisterhood

If this doesn't scream love and unity… I don't know what does.

Note to self: carry toilet paper with you on visitations

Beware: wind may blow the curtain up while you're in the bathroom
Laundry hanging everywhere including our own courtyard

These precious faces drawn me into this ministry more every time I see them

forget the cup- we drink straight from the coconut

the rarity for us: actually riding inside a vehicle
  • Benjamin & Kevin- two young men who are always willing to come with us to the barrios or just stay back and help us with our Spanish and 'Football' skills

  • Some of us girls with Jason and Yuri- they're both really involved with the youth ministry here

  • Brittany, Leigha, Saleena and Myself with our La Quinta Family

  • Sunday School within the Diriamba Barrios

  • Washing moldy dishes in the Barrio…. with dirty water.

  • On our first day off- we conquered the Mombacho Volcano…

  • The view was worth the 5 hours of hiking

  • Our second day off started with a kidnapping

however, it brought us to this beautiful Ocean

This is just the beginning (:

God is continuing to work in this heart of mine. Looking back on what this past month held gets me excited for all He is going to do in Nicaragua and in this team over the next three months. I can't say I know what to expect, but I know it will be filled with love, clarity, unity, and restoration. What's your dream? What is going to push you to leave everything behind and go do what God is calling you to do? Are you willing to be obedient even when everyone around you thinks it's crazy?
