Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story —
those he redemmed from the hand of the foe,
those he gathered from the lands,
from east and west, from north and south. (heyyy that´s our team!!)
(verses 1,2)
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for humankind,
for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
(v 8,9)
He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains…..for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.
(v 14,16)
He stilled the storm to a whisper, the waves of the sea were hushed.
They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.
(v 29, 30)
I´ve been thinking a lot recently about the promises of God, promises of who He is, and who we are, who I am.
¨This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name.¨ (ezekiel 36:22)
sooo if God´s children are his glory and he never goes halfway on behalf of his glory, then He will never go halfway on behalf of redeeming his children. such hope.
