I am in Nicaragua! Life has been full of all sorts of newness and change. I am learning more and more every day of how little I am on my own and how great God is , alone!
Toay I went with a few teammates, to walk around the city and pray. Praying specifically that God would show us where He wanted us to go. We had the most awesome opportunities and situations today, Amazing “only God” planned incounters.
The people here are so open and welcoming. They invite you graciously into their home, feed you, and are eager to try to understand English.
Early afternoon found me and my teammates sitting in a hot front room in a simple, Nicaraguan home, with a sweet woman in her mid 70´s. Through much hand motioning , word guessing, and Zach´s persistance with pushing his Spanish skills, we found out this lady was suffering in much pain throughout her body.
Despite a very strong lanugauge barrier, we gathered around, laid hands on her and prayed for her healing…and for spiritual healing as well.
This is just the tip of the iceburg of what God is doing here …and of the stories being written.
I am excited and humbled to be apart of furtherring His Kindom.
