Remade

I now know why this organization is called “Adventures in Missions”. Between finding our way to the Safehouse and ministering on the streets of Atlanta to traveling to training camp I’ve barely had time to catch my breath and realize it’s only been three days. My real life team is already like my family and I can clearly see why God placed the nine of us together.
Every night here will have a lasting impact but last night was without a doubt the best night I’ve ever experienced in my young life. My blood started racing when my leader tapped my shoulder to go into the middle of my team’s circle. The room was silent and everyone was seeking God for words and visions he wanted to speak to His children. My team, not knowing I was the one in the middle, started speaking out words I really needed to hear. Words of encouragement, that I was mighty- that I’m not just some small girl because God is going to do big things through me. That was just one of the many moments in my night the tears wouldn’t stop! The girls continued to speak into my life and freedom swept over my body.
As the night went on, different teammates went into the middle and I was then challenged to fully seek God and ask him to use me to speak to my sisters and brothers. I’ve never felt so important, or worthy of doing God’s work. We continued this exercise and then did this with the other real life teams and my Father’s words and visions never ceased to amaze me. I wrote everything down in my journal from last night, Satan will never be able to erase or alter what God spoke to me last night or what He used me to speak to others. I’ve been remade and the gates of hell won’t stand against it.
I leave for Nicaragua tomorrow and I know the Lord is only going to continue to do great things in my life and in the life of my teammates. It’s like I’ve hit a growth spurt and I don’t want it to ever stop. Keep praying for all the teams as we go into these battlefields. I’m not scared because I know I’m the daughter of a King- whatever Nicaragua holds… Bring it on.
